Anonymousasked: "Maybe they just think..." == Then they should think less. I can understand being uncomfortable around us, friends and acquaintances any way, but family? If you had cancer or diabetes no one would ever behave the way they do with this. As for sweeping it under the rug... eventually there won't be anymore room for the sweepings, and then it might be too late. Parents should be there for us unconditionally. Saw some of your pics with the bones showing through, I wept. Take care. (n)
Bones shone. They don’t matter anymore.
Well I try to say that to myself all the time
Anonymousasked: I find it amazing how so many people are afraid when it comes to dealing with people, including their own family, who have mental health issues. Especially how these issues can manifest themselves physically as well. Do they honestly think that we choose to live this way? (I have depression and anxiety issues) I sometimes wonder when it comes to a parent or parents, the negative reactions they display, is out of fear and a sense of guilt. Maybe they feel they gave it to us in some way. (n)
Maybe they just think we just wanted attention…
And maybe they just don’t want to admit the fact they’re apart of the issues… Just want to push it under the rug.
